License Types

There are 3 types of ActionStitch licenses:

  • A Family license can only be used to make videos for personal use only. A Family license is perpectual.
  • A Team license can be used to make videos for one team only. The stitched videos can be posted on the team page or shared with team members. A Team license must be renewed every year.
  • A Professional license is designed for videographer to make videos without any limitations. A Professional license must be renewed every year.

One license, regardless of the type, can only be installed on one computer.

FAQ

Will my Team/Professional licenses get renewed automatically?

We don't renew your licenses automatically. Instead you pay a one-time fee based on the number and length of the licenses. You can always renew a license before or after it expires. We'll send you a reminder about 7 days before your licenses expire.


How do I receive my purchased licenses?

After placing the order, you will receive a License Activation Codes for each license you purchased. You can then enter one license activation code in the activation dialog for each computer. ActionStitch will then download the license from our license server and save it to the registry on Windows or the user defaults on Mac.

My license became invalid after I upgraded my computer and reinstalled OS. How do I restore the license?

Just enter the same license activation code in the activation dialog and ActionStitch will re-download the license from our license server.

Please note that the license is bound to the host name. So if the host name ever changes, you will need to set the new host name on the licenses page and then activate with the same activation code.


Is it safe to use my credit card on actionstitch.com?

Our license server simply passes your credit card information directly to our payment processor, Stripe.com. We do not save your credit card anywhere in our system.

In addition, the connections between your web browser, actionstitch.com, our license server, and Stripe, are all securely encrypted.

Alternatively, you can use paypal to purchase licenses.


Can I get a refund if I find out ActionStitch isn't the right solution for me

Absolutely. Just email us within 30 days after the purchase and we will refund the actual amount that we receive from Stripe or PayPal. Please note that it will not be a full refund, as both Stripe and PayPal do not refund the payment processing fee (about 3% of the total amount).

We strongly recommend that you take advantage of the full 30 day trial before making the purchase decision.
